At Ziptrek Ecotours, community connection has always been at the heart of what we do. Every year, we’re reminded that the mountains, forests, and people around us make this place truly special and that it is our responsibility to support the organizations that strengthen, protect, and uplift our region.
In 2025, thanks to the help of our guests, our merchandise and GoPro rental programs, we’re proud to be able to contribute $6,600 towards organizations whose work matters deeply in our community. While we’re honoured to play a small part, the real spotlight belongs to the incredible groups making a difference every single day.
Below is a look at the four charities we’re supporting this year and why their work inspires us.
Supporting families, strengthening community
Maison de la Famille du Nord provides essential services for families across the Mont-Tremblant area, offering support through:
parenting programs
early childhood development
mental-health and social resources
community gatherings and safe spaces
Their work ensures families in all circumstances find the support, compassion, and resources they need. A strong community starts with strong families, and we are grateful for the vital work they do every day.
Protecting our watershed, protecting our future
Located in the Rivière du Nord watershed, OBV RPNS (Organisme de Bassins Versants de la Rivière du Nord) plays a vital role in protecting one of our region’s most important natural resources: water.
Their team works tirelessly on:
watershed restoration
sustainable water management
community education on environmental protection
For a business that operates in the heart of nature, supporting watershed health isn’t just important, it’s essential. OBV RPNS ensures our rivers, streams, and aquatic ecosystems remain healthy for future generations, and we are proud to stand behind their work.

Honouring Indigenous culture, healing, and connection
Kina8at is an extraordinary organization dedicated to strengthening relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people through cultural education, healing, and shared experiences.
Their programs focus on:
traditional teachings and workshops
reconciliation-focused initiatives
cultural immersion programs
community healing rooted in Indigenous knowledge
We believe tourism should help build bridges, not barriers. Supporting Kina8at is one way we can contribute to meaningful connections, cultural respect, and learning across communities.
Inspiring the next generation to get outdoors
We’ve always believed that adventure can change lives, and Take Me Outside brings that belief to classrooms across Canada.
Their mission is simple but powerful: help students spend more time learning outside.
Through national programs, outdoor education campaigns, and hands-on resources for teachers, Take Me Outside empowers kids to develop a lasting connection to nature. As an ecotourism company, we know that outdoor experiences shape values, spark curiosity, and create lifelong stewards of the environment. This partnership feels especially meaningful.
