How long have you been working at Ziptrek? This summer is my third season at Ziptrek. I come back every year because there's no better way to spend the summer than being outside every day! Since I'm on the course almost every day, I get to see how the mountain views change in all weather conditions. There's nothing more magical than emerging from the clouds in the middle of a zipline on a foggy morning or seeing a rainbow at the end of a rainy day. 

What do you love most about being a guide at Ziptrek Tremblant? What I like best about Ziptrek are the people you meet at work. The guides and customer service staff form a team based on mutual support. We often say that the big days are the best because we're always there to help each other. When I'm guiding, I love meeting interesting people who come from all over the world. Learning more about the guests on my tours is the best!

What are your favorite activities/hobbies? Outside of work, I love to cook. Whether it's with friends or family, I always have a smile on my face when we get together in the kitchen to prepare a feast. Everything tastes better when you share it! (Except chocolate cake.)

Which animal would make the best president when the animal kingdom rises up and takes over, and why? If animals took over the planet, the best president would be a bear. As an omnivore, he'd have a personal interest in protecting both local flora and fauna. When he hibernates, he'd give everyone the winter off, so we could go skiing every day!

How long have you been with Ziptrek? I've been with Ziptrek for 6 years. I was the first guide to be hired at 15 years old! 

What do you love most about being a guide at Ziptrek Tremblant? I love working with my friends, and the team is absolutely great. It's always fun to see how the guides evolve from year to year. 

What are your favorite activities/hobbies? I do a lot of different sports from hiking, mountain biking, SUP, kickboxing, and Taekwon-Do. I also play music!

Describe your life using the title of a book. “Merlin the Enchanter” would be the title of the book about my life.

How long have you been working for Ziptrek? This is my second season as a guide at Ziptrek Tremblant. 

What do you like most about being a guide at Ziptrek Tremblant? I like the social aspect of my job and working with my friends. 

What's your favorite song right now? How many times do you have to listen to a song you love before you hate it? Sprinter by Dave. I think 30 times in a row. 

Do you believe in aliens, and why? Yes, because not to believe in them would be selfish. 

TaÏga Tinkler

What brought you to Ziptrek? The desire to have a job that I love. I love the forest, the mountains, the adrenaline, working at heights. Ziptrek is a nice mix of everything.

What are your favorite activities/hobbies? Skateboarding, skiing, climbing, and white-water kayaking.

What do you like best about being a guide at Ziptrek Tremblant? The guests

Do you have a pre-ski ritual? Yes, I have a pre-ski ritual. 

- Wake up 

- Check the forecast (avalanche/ weather) Plan if we are skiing, and what we had in mind. If not, find another safer route. 

- 2 to 5 sun salutations (yoga for warming up) 

- Breakfast while watching a ski movie 

- Hit the slopes because the movie got me too excited
